Here’s a slide show of all of our guests who came to our grand opening! It was truly a delight to be in the company of so many of our close family, friends and loyal clients. We were especially thrilled to be surprised by Basillios Strmec, President of Hailun USA who flew in for the occasion. Thanks everyone for making it such a grand success!

The day after our grand opening, Brigham met with customers late into the evening. After 10pm, when the last one left, he sat down and this song flowed out of him. He does this all of the time… he gets a song in his head and then sits down to play it. He wakes up with them playing in his mind. His soul is entrenched in music. He called me on his way home and said, “I’m on my way, check out YOUTUBE”. So I did, and I thought I’d share… (He chose of course his favorite piano in the shop to play it on, the 198 Hailun Grand 6’6″).
Sorry the sound quality doesn’t do the song justice at all. He played it again for me once he got home and it was so beautiful and the 161 Hailun grand we have in our living room. We need to invest in better video equipment, but as with so many other things it will have to wait. So for now, the flip & Ipad will have to do.

Brigham fixed the pedal as well as tuned the piano; provided a concert of blues/jazz music that I thoroughly enjoyed; wouldn’t tell me how much it cost because my mother was going to pay for it.
