This is a Hailun piano action model that was selected by the National Piano Technician’s Guild to be used as their official piano model for all piano technician’s to be tested on when taking their exams to become Registered Piano Technicians. Today Brigham got a call from a woman who’s mother had just died and she was beginning to clean out their home and figuring out what to do with all of their belongings. The old piano pictured above was one item that she needed to get rid of but wasn’t in any condition to be sold. So she called Brigham to see how much he would charge to remove it for her. She was thrilled to learn that he would come and take it for FREE (especially considering that it was down some stairs as well… that would normally cost extra for a professional moving service).
A win-win… now we have another piano project waiting in line in our warehouse and this nice lady is one step closer to getting her parent’s belongings taken care of at no charge to her.
Sooooo-if it’s not worth selling and you want to get rid of it: We’ll take it FOR FREE! I happen to know a very good technician who is an expert at resurrecting old pianos that seem fit only for a junkyard or spare parts. (well, to be honest a few really are good only for parts!)

We participated in the Hailun Dealer monthly conference call this week and were made aware of several exciting new innovations as well as new models of pianos that are soon to be introduced. Check back in a few weeks and we will be posting about those exciting changes. Hailun will be unveiling these innovations and new models at NAMM in CA next weekend, January 13-16. Austin came to our piano shop knowing more about Hailun pianos that we did. He did an EXTREME amount of research and knew without our telling him what set Hailun appart and why it was a superior instrument in its price range for new pianos. Our expanding business no longer fits in our house… we burst the seams with the 24th piano stacked in our home and garage. Sooooooo…… we have found a warehouse to be the new home for Brigham’s Piano Shop! We are busy moving in and setting up shop (so there won’t be any more blogging until after the grand opening).
Save the date for November 27th and join us at 10am! The Utah Valley Chamber will kick off our warehouse grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony right at 10!
