The Corneli Family Piano!

The Corneli Family Piano!

We seven kids grew up in the sixties in rural northern Illinois - right on the Wisconsin border, all had piano lessons and some of us - not me - became accomplished. So between our recording of every sort of jazz and classical and musicals, one of us was always playing our little upright Mason & Hamblin (a pretty mahogany treasure). So music was ever present with some if us adding flute, clarinet, coronet, French Horn (sublime), guitar and drums. I cannot imagine a home without lots of music, For years, our daughter Katy took youth piano lessons at the University of Utah. A poised and talented player, we bought her a lovely baby grand, which she used until college. She now plays banjo as well as guitar, and her children love every sort of music, With Katy's 1920's home in Price, Utah, came a lovely but damaged early 20th century Story and Clark upright. The sound is lovely when her children play it but the keys are quite damaged. Katy has an MS in objects conservation rom Durham University and knows precisely that she could restore the keys. But, although she is collections manager at the USU Prehistoric Museum, she is the sole bread winner for her entire family. and second In responsibility at her museum and yet typically for museum workers, her home income is insubstantial to invest in this TR
It was included with the Craftman's 1920 house in Prive Utah that my daughter bought.
